Liquid City is a comic book anthology of short graphic stories, written and drawn by creators mainly in South-East Asia. The anthology is edited by Sonny Liew, an Eisner award-nominated illustrator and writer based in Singapore.
Volume 1 of Liquid City was published by Image Comics in November 2008. Sales of Volume 1 was encouraging enough for a follow-up volume to be greenlighted by Image Comics.
Volume 2 is expected to be published in 2010. The works-in-progress are currently undergoing a peer-review process on a discussion forum at www.liquidcitizen.net/forum/.
